Jaden Wiley of ATL Zoom got down into the low 21s last July, and he hasn't let up.

On Saturday during a long day of action at the Arkansas High School Indoor Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., Wiley ran a US#1 time of 21.15 in the prelims and then waited hours to come back to the track and compete in the evening final.

Wiley backed up his nation-leading time by running 21.16 in the final.

In a meet that lasted nearly 14 hours and provided competitive opportunities to thousands of athletes, the brightest of the stars found their time and place to shine.

Madeleine Fey from Midlothian TX, competing unattached in the club setting, threw 47-3 (14.40m) to win the shot put with a US#1 mark.

Skylynn Townsend from North Texas Jackrabbits (Rock Hill TX) jumped 20-2.50 (6.16m) to take the national lead in the long jump.

Wiley's fast prelim came with stellar competition from Jelani Watkins of Jacobs Sports Academy (Atascocita TX), an LSU football recruit, who ran US#2 21.19 in the same heat.

Watkins did not run in the 200 final, but won the 60 dash in 6.73 seconds for a US#2 performance.

Keayari Thompson from TakeOff (Westlake GA) ran 47.72 for US#3 in the 400 meters Saturday morning and came back nine hours later to win the final in 48.59.

Ben Markham from TakeOff ran a US#4 time of 1:53.90 to win the 800 meters.

Abdoul Sy-Savane of ATL Zoom Athletics (Parkview GA) defended his meet title and ran US#2 7.71 in the 60-meter hurdles.

Ethan Gonzalez from North Richland Hills TX broke a meet record held by Lukas Verzbicas when he ran US#2 8:27.19 to win the boys 3,000 meters.

Addison Dorenkamp from Xlr8 Iowa Track Club (Valley IA) ran away from the field in the girls 3,000 meters with US#5 9:48.34.

In the girls sprints, Nita Koom-Dadzie (Humble Kingwood TX) ran US#5 7.40 to win the 60 meters and 23.89 to win the 200. Indya Mayberry of Team Quest Track Club ran US#3 23.63 in the prelims of the 200, but pulled up late in the final.
